So I purchased TOD from coach to Premium Plus and it showed as an R fare. However, when I was upgraded to Polaris it took out 80 Plus Points as my original fare class was K.

I have written into 1K voice a week ago but heard nothing but my thinking is if they want to deduct deduct the 80 Plus Points they should refund me my $599, else they should keep the $599 and only deduct 30 Plus Points and refund me 50 Plus Points.

The flight was LAX-SYD if that makes any difference and I am fairly indifferent on whether they refund me the cash or the PlusPoints, I am just annoyed they did both. Am I off-base here? Are they entitled to both the $599 and the 50 PlusPoints?
