I have a DBV - FRA - ORD itinerary, booked on Lufthansa, FRA - ORD is UA metal. Layover is just shy of 12 hours, but overnight (8 PM - 8AM). Would LH rules apply or UA? And is overnight strictly enforced? I'd prefer to check all the way through.
