I usually don't stay at IHG places much, as I have status with Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and Wyndham. However, a few months ago, I received an email offering me a Fast Track to Gold for I believe it was, for staying 3 nights before the end of the year or Platinum for 5 nights before the end of the year. I took them up on the offer as I had a five night stay coming up anyway and the rate wasn't that much more. I also signed up for the 10000 points for 5 nights, I believe it was. The choices were that or 2000 points for every two nights or something like that. I then also registered for the 10K points for every two nights promo and also the stay twice and get 10K points promo. Plus they were all combinable.

Because of this, I went from having 35K points on Nov 19 to currently having 86K points plus Platinum status for 2023, all for staying nine nights. I thought that was pretty good.
