Here are my overall rankings from most favorite to least favorite after my trip this past 1.5 weeks:
- The St. Regis: great service, great shower, great bed
- The Ritz-Carlton: awe-inspiring views, great bed, no free Elite breakfast (I knew this going in obviously)
- JW Polanco: great shower, great bed, delicious restaurant breakfast
- W Polanco: great bed, slightly worse shower than JW, very friendly
- Las Alcobas: great hard product, great shower, great welcome gift of cookies, billing issues and annoyances
- Sheraton Maria Isabel: nice location, good lounge, comfortable bed
- Westin Santa Fe: terrible Santa Fe location, but amazing bed
- Le Meridien: old and dated, but most things worked and were comfortable
- Marriott Reforma: scammy 21.x exchange rate by Grupo Diestra ownership
- JW Santa Fe: scammy 21.x exchange rate, gross first room assignment with bad cleanliness, and hard pillows
There are reviews on these with my photos in all of the respective master threads.
