To be fair, the real answer is EVERY gate at EWR Terminal C after OTG transformed it into a completely inaccesible space. There was not an architect or engineer in sight when someone said "Hey, let's block one of the busiest terminals in the country with monstrous food stations in the middle of every hallway!" For every wide body board, surrounding gates are enveloped in a sea of people blocking access. Sometimes I wonder how much the Newark fire chief received in a payoff to approve these areas as being fire hazard compliant from an evacuation standpoint.
