Like others, as a 100K elite, I was getting errors trying to renew my Discount Den membership: it would show a zero price tag, but not process. Since I finally needed to actually buy a Discount Den fare, I figured that if I just added it at purchase, the system would process my renewal. It did price as zero during the reservation process but, again, I got error messages and could neither buy the ticket nor renew my membership. Tried chatting with Frontier last night, but I was told it was after 8 pm EST, so nobody could help me with a Discount Den problem.
I started a new chat this morning. In a reasonable amount of time, less than 15 minutes, somebody helped me and I was actually able to renew my DD membership. Hooray!
But, since I'm dealing with Frontier IT, my troubles weren't over. I then tried to buy the DD fare I wanted and, again, I got error messages. MY renewed DD membership was showing in my profiile. I waited awhile, and tinkered with some things, and finally got it to work. I think the additional problem may have been that I made changes to my profile yesterday: for some reason, my account was populating with inaccurate information -- like a wrong email address. I've had this problem in the past, where my email is changed to another one that isn't mine. I fixed this, and also entered my preferred credit card number, which also never seemed to work for my purchases. I think that might have been the final problem because, after I entered that card number manually during checkout, instead of relying on the system to do it, my ticket purchase went through.
Adventures in Frontier World. I would never be their customer if the fares weren't $23. FWIW, I recommend you look for some $23 fares today. It's obviously a good deal.
