There's even more incentive for a PL based member to choose LH Group over LO. Plus despite what was promised, still no HON miles in Y, this matters as LO only have Y domestic. LO have told their members to please, go fly LH Group. And its harder to work it out, a lot of people will get caught out.

LOL at it being less complicated, theres now points, qualifying points, HON Circle Miles and award miles?

Going forward a return in business to Europe via WAW... the Y feeder to WAW earns 20 points / 20 qualifying plus then the 40 points and qualifying for the C. Hence an EU return would be 120. Versus Lufthansa where the feeder to the hubs is in C and earns 160 points.

SEN is earned with 12.5 returns on LH Group, no matter if it's P or not.

If you fly LO, you’re an idiot. Return in C via WAW would be 120 points and qualifying so 16.6 returns...no matter if its Y and C.

The pax I can’t understand are screwed are high fare Y flyers despite the immense profitability of Y, B and M fares…

Right now a rip-off Y, B return to Europe earns you SEN in 18 returns on all M&M valid two years. Going forward it will be 25 returns valid one year.

I can’t see them keeping onboard SEN’s who can easily achieve Star Gold with some other programme, and still earn really good miles based on the high RBDs.

Finally, the political class are totally screwed in PL.

Right now 80 one ways to/from WAW, 40 returns are SEN valid two years in RBD Y.
Now they need 100 one ways in RBD Y…valid only one year.
This will massively clear out many of them, some of them are struggling now.

LO leaving M&M has to be on the cards so soon. This is a disaster for them. That is, if they even realise, or understand M&M at all .
Sorry, but WHAT is going so much worse by new program for LOT?
HON is also now for C/F only and is so already very long time.
C pax is AFAIK usually better for airline than Y. More income. On the intra-EU routes also the selfcost of C pax is not much higher than Y pax.
Getting status by just domestic flights... I dont know how many such pax there are.
As the new system do not differ RBD, then LOT F-fares (their cheapest Business Class) I think is attractive for many.

For SEN and FTL the Economy fares do also count -- so for them LOT is still in business.

I do not believe that most of the pax are flying with high RBD-s.
New system do not differ.

Main benefit for LOT is to be part of the big (one of the biggest) FFP.
