I'm in a situation where I'm going to be ~70 PQP away from Gold.

I have a D class SFO-LAX-YYZ booking on UA/AC, and my plan is still to credit the UA segment to UA and AC to AC.

I have no other travel planned. I'm certainly not paying the $747 for 700 PQP that they're asking for.

But I also have AC*G and don't fly Y so the benefits don't justify it for me. If I could easily upfare something for $70, I would.
