This as Cathay don't normally at the moment publish the schedule of destinations to be reintroduced often until a few weeks out. (probably because they don't know themselves how many aircraft they will have available as the recovery and refurbishment from over 2 years desert storage takes about 6 weeks per aircraft even if no major work is needed)
Many media reports in the last few days quoting Cathay named sources that they expect to back running a full schedule prior to the end of 2023.
As ORD was never a 'core' route for Cathay perhaps April/May may be the very earliest.
