Disagree. I joined VA about 10 years ago, paying $30-$50/year membership fees. My UA $$/RDM/BIS spreadsheets from 2014-2018 display savings based on VA discount code of $150-$200 each year. I’m no longer chasing UA lifetime status so I’m a free agent for flying purposes but VA still saves me at least $50 per year. Just a few days ago VA saved me $20 on a $393 UA ticket.
