Just got an email from Hertz offering for me to gift my PC status to "one family member or friend" through December 31, 2023.
According to the T&Cs at the bottom, 'Offer available to active Hertz Five Star® and President’s Circle® members only' so I'm presuming that may have gone out to all 5*/PC members.
The irony is that unless Hertz decides to extend status further, my PC will end in the next few month - which means that the person I gift my status too will actually end up having status for much longer than I do! Wonder if I can gift it to myself...
I got this email today as well. I am in the same situation, my PC status is set to expire as far as I know, I have had only 2 paid rentals this year. I thought about trying to gift myself as well, but now wondering if a better strategy might be to cross gift with another person in the same situation - such as yourself. What do you think?
