I was blessed (?) with a bunch of domestic and international work travel this year, so AS 100K required just a single true MR (bagged Star Alliance Gold via AC 75K while I was at it).

My MR: Found myself in Europe with a weekend free. Did I visit the Louvre? Tour the canals of Venice? Explore the Scottish Highlands? Nope. Took advantage of an AY J fare ARN-HEL-BKK and back. Was on ground in BKK for about 4 hours. Same bird both ways (obviously), so didn't have to sweat delays.

For next year, have a mid-Jan BA F trip that will net me 36K AS EQMs. Nice jump-start to the qualifying year!
