Hey! Slightly weird question here - I was wondering if it’s allowed to use a one world benefit you have through one airline, whilst travelling with another OW airline’s FF number on your ticket?

I haven’t travelled in a long time so am just a One World Ruby member (Bronze British Airways), but this will be expiring before I can earn enough tier points to maintain it, so I have chosen to begin collecting with Qatar privilege club for my flight on Thursday, as this works better with where I’m now living and the student benefits.

So my ticket has my Qatar FF number on, but I have a BA bronze membership card. Is it possible to use the business class check in benefit linked to this even though it’s not the FF number on my ticket as they’re both One World? It’s not a huge deal but I’ve been unable to check in online so could be helpful if lines are long at the airport. Thanks!
