I've seen battlefield upgrades once boarding was completed twice in the past month, which is probably as many as I had seen in the past five years total. I'm sure the one guy flying SEA-KOA was especially grateful.
SEA-KOA I without a doubt would have asked for the GA once boarding was complete and kindly request they process the upgrades if the flight wasn’t delayed. That is absurd. That’s a 5 1/2 hour flight!
