Check-in counters will be at Door 4. The flight will depart from the "jetty" B2 of Terminal B (Gates B51-B58), the same one as British Airways, La Compagnie etc... and previously Virgin Atlantic. It was also confirmed to me by AF that (eligible) passengers will use the ex-Virgin Clubhouse – now operated by Plaza Premium, on the 3rd level next to the BA lounge.

Strange outcome, as it will be a dedicated AF ground team it seems, while this could have been delegated to Delta agents/counters had it been in the same jetty as AF. Not sure what's behind this operational decision.

Thanks for the update vinnyc
Very good for the lounge as the DL SC is really crap (and rather small). For the AF staff, maybe it's due to the small DL team, as EWR is not an important station for DL, as opposed to JFK.
