So I believe this thread is greatly exaggerated. Walking at what I’ll call (for lack of a better term) a New Yorker’s pace, but absolutely not running or even walking at an exaggerated pace, I walked from the start of the sky bridge to the air train in 4 minutes. Measured from my gate — gate 2 at one end of the terminal — the total walk was 8 minutes. And measured from the entrance to the baggage claim area it was 6 minutes. I did take the the elevator from baggage claim to the sky bridge — I think it’s faster than the escalators — and I did walk on the moving walkways, but as noted I don’t think I did anything extraordinary. So even if you’re a slow walker, it’s hard to imagine that would more that double the speed from 4 minutes to 8. Maybe 10.

No question it’s the longest distance from the gates to the AirTrain, but it certainly seems more than manageable.
