Two things I'd consider is the flight time from LAX to CLT can be very uncomfortable in a narrow body in F and the fact that CLT is way overcrowded both inside and outside the clubs. Soemtimes making your way through a CLT terminal is hard because density if crowds makes it hard and slow to get through (I hate CLT).
I'd also consider that flying from DFW gives you a longer overnight flight than CLT, meaning more likelihood of actually getting any sleep.
