I have two El-Al related questions.

First, is one of the benefits of Gold level matmid status that you can book their extra-legroom seats (SPACE seats) for flights to N. America at no extra cost? The website seems to say so, but it is not perfectly clear.

Second, on the 787-Dreamliner route from TLV to JFK, the seats in Row 28, HàK are classified as regular coach seats (i.e. no extra legroom) even though the other seats in the same row are classified as extra legroom. Do you know why that is?
