That isn't the point, I was just pointing out that your math is faulty. Also, I think you said it was a bad deal for those without the bag. But an economist would say that you don't know. Because if the person buying the check-in and meal (and not the bag) "values" the experience at $500 each way, but is only charged $500 round-trip, then they are getting a GREAT deal. What you do know if that YOU don't place that value on the experience -- which means that YOU would not pay that $500. Are you suggesting that you have evidence that many people who value the experience at less than $500 are still paying the $500?
