Hi. Booking with AA miles a trip to Europe. I have on hold LAX-DFW-CDG on a 787-9, but today, a web special came up, and I now I am also holding an LAX-CLT-CDG on a 777-200er. Is there a reason to choose either plane over the other? With the CLT web special, I'll save about 100k miles. I originally liked the idea of a 3-hour flight to DFW and the longer flight being on the CDG leg but if there is no overriding reason to stick with the 789 then saving the miles is probably the smarter option. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I tend to get into the weeds on this stuff so hoping for someone who has a better perspective . Thanks.
