$500 r/t id not just for the dining and flagship check in, it also includes an extra piece of checked luggage allowance. For just a meal, the price would be v poor value, but for those who need the additional luggage allowance, it works out $100 r/t - or $50 each way to have access to the dining and flagship check in. $50 extra doesn't seem like a bad deal - plus of course, there is no need to deal with paying for excess baggage at the airport and chan check it straight in
