I have a similar, but slightly different question:

If you booked some cheap flights for December 2022 and January 2023 before you had Elite status, then you suddenly (like today) achieved 20k Elite status, can you use Elite benefits for your upcoming December 2022 and January 2023 flights that you previously booked (before you got your Elite status)?
