I left out of my original post because it's irrelevant but I was irritated from the start. I was supposed to sit in 2F and moments before the door shut the guy in 1E arrived and wanted to swap with me.

I prefer a window and I don't want the bulkhead because I typically work in flight. My job pays me by the hour and I have no set schedule so every second I sit waiting for the seat belt sign is lost income for me. Obviously that's my fault, but it made me more likely to nitpick this flight.
