Choosing a seat on.Miami_Heathrow..something fishy????

For over 2 months now I have been trying to choose a seat on business class and after I choose one I get an error message
"We're sorry, we are unable to process your request. Please contact your local British Airways office"

Contacted BA customer service and their response was that they were not able to do it from their side either??? Thought it was a technical problem and tried again and agin several weeks after and again after 2 months and they can't choose a seat on their system? This is the same response I got when I called London Office and after a month called US office.

The weird thing is I see seats being booked? A lot a seats are gone and I wonder if passengers are not able to choose seats neither are customer service from BA how are these seats being booked? Who is choosing them?

Something does not seem right?
