I often sit in 11K and have never noticed much noise from the front galley (although I do use earplugs when sleeping).

When there is activity in the forward galley it's generally located on the starboard side (circled below). Otherwise, I would say far more activity occurs in the second galley.

If this is your only bulkhead choice, I would take it. The extra legroom is worth it.
