Can report that beef short rib option on a PHL-DFW lunch flight in November looked about the same as the picture in post #1885, complete with the shrimp appetizer (some sort of remoulade, not cocktail sauce). I agree that it was a pretty good airline meal. Sounds like your EWR-DFW lunch was the same.

(Assuming that your EWR-DFW lunch did in fact come with the shrimp appetizer too?)
