Any updated thoughts on how recent ops have been and which flight we should take?
Doing some research, the 10:40 flight (NZ612) was cancelled four times in November, although it’s been fine so far in December.
It is pretty much impossible to forecast whether or not the flight will operate. Based on November, it has a 13% chance of not operating, or a day for every eight.
Are you willing to take that chance?
The fact (definitely not a criticism) you are here again asking about it, says you are worried or thinking about it.
Will you sleep well between now and then?

I would go up day before, book a hotel close to the water. Wander the waterfront, visit and eatery or two, look at boats, sleep soundly, wander the waterfront again for coffee, brekky, lunch, look at more boats, cab/bus to the airport in good time, enjoy the Koru and bon voyage.
