I regularly fly HA's non-stop between HNL-JFK. When HA flew out of gate 30 at T5, at the extreme end of the concourse, it would take approximately 25 minutes to the AirTrain walking at a brisk pace. Now that Hawaiian has moved to T4, the walk to AirTrain from the A gates takes 10 minutes.
