I will be in Singapore for about 24 hrs (5 pm - 5 pm) in late January on a connecting flight. First time there so I’m hoping to get some suggestions. I’m flying J on SQ but I don’t see anything about them providing a hotel so, assuming that’s the case, I’ll use my Bonvoy points for the night there. I’ve read through some of the hotel threads and I’m thinking either the Courtyard, Four Points or maybe the Westin.

I’m gold with Bonvoy so I don’t think that gets me much of anything additional at any of the hotels. I’ll be coming off the flight from EWR and I tend to not sleep well in planes but I imagine I’ll want to look around a bit while I’m there. I’ll have my camera so I would like to get a few good pix, haven’t researched where yet. Suggestions appreciated or I’ll research that elsewhere later. The hotels I listed are 20k - 32k with the 4P at 20k. The Tang seems like it might be a better location for me, but I’m not sure it’s worth going up to 40k points for one night. Maybe it is?

Any thoughts/recommendations from the hotels I listed? The MRT being right under the Courtyard and the rooftop pool make me think that’s where I would prefer to stay. I’ll most likely take the train into town and back to the airport. But I did read something about the pool being under repair a couple of months ago. I assume it’s open now? I can message the hotel if nobody knows and that looks like the place I want to go. I would like a pool while I’m there.
