I'm guessing they were all like dim sum like serving sizes? That's one of the downsides of eating after you're really hungry. People generally tend to eat too much after and then feel gorged afterwords. On the bright side, there are way worse places to overeat than the Pier.

Yeah, pretty small portion sizes especially given American or even Candian standards, but I definitely...er...gorged. Had I been there with family, friends or even colleagues, I probably wouldn't have gone into Vegas buffet mode, but I was instantly reminded that food really tastes great when one's famished! So, why not? I think the chefs & staff and I were on a first name basis when I was finished feasting. Not that I'd ever bother, but if you entered everything I had eaten into one of those new fangled calorie counters, it'd have easily be 5,000, I'd imagine.
But, yeah, just as with any buffet, instant regret for the next several hours post gorging. LOL
PS - Forgot, also had some char siu buns!
