Lol this. If you're a Vegas regular you know that hotel status means nothing anywhere in the city. Now your players card/gambling status means something. If you're dropping thousands on a hand, gambling/spending a ton of money, they'll comp you suites/villas/shows/restaurants anything to get you back to gamble more.
I would say the people who are treated the best are the ones who WIN the most. I had that experience myself one lucky day 20+ years ago with Flyertalker QuietLion. The casinos would have done anything to convince me to stay. I had a VIP rep, massive suites, Cuban cigars, etc.
But besides all this, these hotels can make money AND give good service. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
