I was in Vienna four weeks ago and was curious to see the progress of their renovations. I walked by the the Renaissance Imperial Riding School hotel on a weekday and there was nobody there. I didn't see any work being done on the hotel. It just looked deserted.
I am also curious about the status of this hotel as I have stayed there often in the past and liked it. I have seen no updates about progress on the renovation and the Marriott reservation website does not show the property as taking reservations for the foreseeable future. Yet, there is the following website still up for the property that has a reservation seach function that always says rooms not available for any dates selected.

It seems odd that Marriott Corporate would allow the website to exist without at least some indication the property is not currently open.
