I have never had an issue before this property. Minor charges were removed promptly when questioned. I don't drink alcoholic drinks. No, I am not a member of LDS church but I had a minor allergic reaction to alcohol when I was young and resolved not to drink anymore. I also have "No Alcohol" in my Bonvoy profile but I often still receive a bottle of Red as my welcome amenity anyway.

Why would they charge you for a welcome amenity bottle of wine?? charging a $100+ for a welcome amenity bottle of wine is weird.
But yes i've disputed minibar charges before and they just remove it when I check out and see the charges. I never consume minibar items unless i'm so thirsty that I'd take a Coke or a soda but at least I know I did it and I'll pay for it. I've worked at hotel front desks before and we rarely argue with the customer for a few minibar items, unless it does look weird. But minibars are a loss center for most hotels, it's there for convenience but I doubt many are making a profit of it... Of course you have the occasional "liars" who take a drink or two and then claim it's not them. But again, it's rarely argued at check-out, they just write it off if you insist you didn't consume it.
