Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I save words like exceptional for places like French Laundry and the like. No issues on the cost as I’m happy to fork over money for a great experience/value (like paying full price for stay at StR Maldives) but this dinner is not that. The value just isn’t there. Orientale had better quality food, but TPan has a better experience given its semi-private dinner context. I’m sure TPan will up their game soon enough, just not quite there yet for me.
