Just stayed here and was very whelming.

It was a little confusing to find the actual hotel entrance coming from Shimbashi station, I was trying to approach on ground level, and then the area above, before finding the actual entrance.

I arrived at 3pm and was asked to sit and wait to checkin, and after about 10 minutes I asked if there was a special area for checking in for diamonds/elites and was told that I could go up to the lounge to check in. I did, but it took almost 45 minutes to check in. I'm not sure why things moved so slow - maybe they didn't want to rush out of the lounge? But it was about 10 minutes before someone talked to me after they seated me for my checkin info, then another 10 minutes before they brought out my info for my stay. I asked about upgrades as a diamond and they were able to check and get me a bay view on the 30th floor, which was okay. Then another 15 minutes to come back with my credit card and passport. I didn't get into my room until shortly after 4 - it just seemed...slow.

Lounge area was nice but food was very mediocre. I was asked for drink reservations during the cocktail hour but declined.

Breakfast was very average as well in the lounge - eggs were okay, but I thought the offerings would be much more grand for a hotel with Conrad in the name. Only very basic offerings.

It's not that I wouldn't stay here again - I used a free night certificate, the rack rate was almost $800 on the date I stayed - but it felt more like a $200/night hotel. So not bad, not great, just completely average. Location was also not great, not bad - I did enjoy learning the walk to Shimbashi station, which you can completely do without going to street level.
