I made this decision last year and went with AA ticket stock, but read the fare rules carefully.
  • $400 refund penalty vs $200 on BA F
  • Unlimited free changes on AA ticket
  • Slower to recognize delays or cancellations via codeshare, so you need to be proactive
  • AA chat support excellent and fast in the app
