Got my PLT card a week before Thanksgiving, just to get the 150K SUB for a last minute trip to Germany to attend to a family emergency. My 89 yo mother didn't have the strength to come with. On the Monday of Thanksgiving week my wife said I should send my mother some flowers for Thanksgiving. I literally couldn't find a way to get her flowers before Thursday, only deliveries for the following week were available. I called the concierge and they were able to get flowers delivered to my mother on Wednesday.
