But regarding avios and TP earnings there is no difference anymore.
That said, AA's Twitter team are stellar.
I never had to call and got everything resolved within about an hour, without any major pushback.
Now that the Avios bonus is the same for AA marketed flights as for BA, it makes little difference whether one books through AA or BA (other than upgrades and who to contact of course).
I'd be happy paying extra for a ticket on BA stock (so I'd be able to contact the GGL team about everything), but at that kind of difference (and flying First anyway), that's a nobrainer.
