Any downside to booking via AA for BA F?
Booking a trip to SFO next year and booking via AA I can get F for £3.4k vs £4.6k on BA.com. It will be BA metal but with a AA flight number.

Is there any negative to do this as a BA Gold? I am happy with the price being offered.
