I have had 3 EK F flights out of MEL this year, and the ticket prices have been much the same as they were pre-COVID. I question whether these price hikes are happening equally in all classes.
Qantas on the other hand is well known for ripping off all classes alike whilst offering a distinctly inferior service, judging by the incessant complaints online and elsewhere. Why anyone flies the crippled Q, I will never understand. A change is definitely needed at the top executive level to hopefully bring the corporate culture back to what it was. But I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, I haven't flown them for 15 years and never will again so I don't really care.
Emirates is far too good an airline to be associated with a trashy, unruly mob like Qantas. I speak only of the executive level, not those at the coal face.
