The city tax is payable in every city in Switzerland and is not dependent on the hotels. Booking points or cash, those need to be paid separately on arrival/departure. The amount varies from city to city. It's usually all mentioned on the bookings though.

President Wilson has a great location facing the lake but it's so old and has not been refreshed in such a long time. I would not stay there if I could chose.... the RC is more recent. Not mane Marriott choices downtown though, except for these 2 expensive locations.
