After a 36 hour plus flight from YOW to YXE on WJ, including being abandoned overnight at Pearson because they "ran out of hotel vouchers" and then being denied compensation, I vowed never to fly WJ again (I was actually WJ Gold at that point and that got me nothing apparently) but I am really left with no option. On so many levels I simply cannot justify taking 7 hours to fly YXE-YVR-YYC. So, what's a prairie flyer to do? Hand over monopoly rents to WJ I guess. (A mid February return YXE-YYC is currently pricing at over $1000!)

I fly to Europe a couple of times a year on my own dime and I am going to send my money to WJ in future. Maybe they will up their game. Their transatlantic J is better than AC's hands down so maybe they deserve it.

I still smell a "carve-up" here that someone in authority should look into.

I am just plain mad as hell
