I can‘t open my rental Contract at this time, but I found an E-Mail from 11/24, title „You lead the charge, EV renter. Here is how
And here Hertz wrote:
More things to know about charging
Does charging cost money? Please remember to return your EV with its battery charged to at least 10%.
Yesterday I called the Hertz Hotline and the Agent wasn‘t aware that there is a CPO or EV Battery charge Fee at all. She asked her SUP, but still no knowledge about any Fee‘s. They stated, that all Level above 10% will be Fine and without any penalty. I asked her, to Mail me this, but it Never arrived ;-(

So we drove directly to Hertz LAX and arrived with 51%. Guess what, they Scan the Car, wrote 51% on the Backwindow and when I asked about any penalty, they denies it.

Now I am really exciting what happens
