Being a Diamond here doesn't mean a lot, but I was proactively upgraded to suite (same as shown in yoonny's post). Another Diamond benefit, per a sheet I was given at check in, is a complimentary pool or beach cabana for a day which I took advantage of. All the good chairs by the pool filled up each day so it was nice to have a covered, reserved space. They say this is a one time per stay benefit.
These sentences seem to contradict. A proactive suite upgrade without any hassle/a free day in a cabana are great diamond benefits which are more generous than what is provided by other all-inclusive Hilton resorts, so it definitely meant a lot during your stay.
