There were some people entering CPH from the US and from the UK today who have US arrest records. CPH passport control didn’t notice, didn’t care and asked them the same questions they sometimes ask anyone else looking to come as a tourist for 90 days or less (within any 180 day period) in the Schengen area. Same for coming into CDG from the US earlier this week. And this has long not been a general problem at Schengen passport control even when some US citizens with an expunged arrest history had arrests covered in the press.
Whether the answers are legitimate or not I still have a hard time believing it unfortunately.
