I stayed 3 nights here over Thanksgiving since I had some expiring free night certs and wanted to do some diving. Overall, I thought it was a decent property by all inclusive standards. Being a Diamond here doesn't mean a lot, but I was proactively upgraded to suite (same as shown in yoonny's post). Another Diamond benefit, per a sheet I was given at check in, is a complimentary pool or beach cabana for a day which I took advantage of. All the good chairs by the pool filled up each day so it was nice to have a covered, reserved space. They say this is a one time per stay benefit.

Had dinner at the seafood, BBQ and italian restaurants. I thought all three of them were pretty good. Being from Texas I'm a bit of a sucker for BBQ and while not Texas, it was decent. I wish they gave a choice of what meats you wanted rather than just bringing out a sampler of everything. I didn't think the ribs were very good, and wouldn't have ordered them to begin with, so was a waste of food. Not a great picture below, hiding under the ribs is a pile of really good chicken. The fish and various soups at the seafood restaurant were very good. Service at the bars was generally pretty quick, but as always they could get bogged down at times. They generally had live music each night around 9 until 10:30 down at the pool bar (except one night they moved them to the lobby bar since it was raining). Quality and type of music varied. One night it was generic latin, another it was reggae. Latin night was better.

If you need to rent a car on the island, a company called Smartwheels has a desk and a drop off/pick up at the property. Very easy. There is also a gas station across the street from the hotel entrance.
