Based on Google Earth imagery it seems easy enough but there could be a natural or man-made obstacle in the way.
Secondary question: does last minute Award space show up commonly. Eyeing for next month to use a FNC but not sure if I missed my window or not. There are some nights currently available but not for my date(s)
Ditto on Dominick08's response. In 2012 or so, we were able to walk past Solmar to the end of the rock formation and climb the rocks over to divorce beach. I wouldn't advise doing so, but had read about it on TA. It's a beautiful beach to walk- just don't swim (or dip your toes in) the ocean due to strong currents and rogue waves.
Frequent Miler blasted about award availability for January-April today, and it seems most of January's is dried up now. But I tend to see availability close in, almost always 1-2 days in advance. Do an openhotelalert if you haven't already.
