HND to Hilton Shinjuku (and back)
Arrive HND around 6PM on a Friday - note, never been in HND before, always NRT.
Monorail gets me to Hamamatsucho with no issues, I'm sure - plenty of space for me and (minimal) luggage.
But at that time of day, is there any advantage to the Odeo line vs. the Yamanote line?
Here, I'm more worried about congestion than anything else. I realize that the Odeo line would require getting over to Daimon, but also at the same time I could get all the way to Tochomae and walk the last block to the Hilton. If I took the Yamanote line I'd cab it from Shinjuku station to the hotel.
Return is on a Sunday morning so less concerned about congestion then (but Odeo line also splits, don't want to be on the wrong branch!)...
Thanks for any insight! Not considering Limo bus at this time, or taxi. I tend to think I can do this on JR/Metro/Monorail without too many issue but would like at least some reassurances... Also know about the Keikyu HND line to Shinagawa, which I suppose is an option as well.
