OW Emerald (AA) traveling LHR/LAX on AA connecting to LAX/SFO on AS. Had no problem accessing the QF F lounge at LAX but the AS LAX lounge attendants (2 of them) advised I wasn’t allowed access to the AS lounge as “the departing AS flight was a domestic one”. That, of course, isn’t correct, but the lounge agents referenced a hard copy document prepared by AS indicating that if I’d been departing on AA domestic flight, then yes I’d be eligible. But because it didn’t show the example for an AS connecting domestic flight, no go.

AS wasn’t ready for integration with oneworld and is one of the reasons I’m letting my OW status lapse.
