Interesting. I had a lot of family fly in from different parts of the world for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. They all landed in DEL. I had gone to pick up my uncle & his kids who flew in from DFW. I had VIP access to greet him beyond the immigration counters. I saw him come down the escalator, get into the business class line & clear through in under 5 minutes. He is an American citizen without an OCI.
Business class queues are still on the left side when you come down the escalator at DEL .Those are fine
It's those in economy with foreign passports and even with OCI who are affected and are sent to a low ceiling hall on the right
This change has happened some time in mid 2022 at DEL.
